Burials at Sea - Unattended Memorial Service

Dear Pat, We at Scott McAulay family want to thank you for serving our families. You go above and beyond with the Certificates for them. Again thank you for your professionalism and care. Sincerely, ~Scott McAulay Family New Options [More Reviews >>]

All unattended memorial services simply mean that a family member is not physically present aboard the yacht during the burial at sea. Since the occasion is usually marked by a beautiful and loving ceremony involving the surviving family, this type of service is not quite as popular. There is nothing more memorable than experiencing the scattering of ashes of your loved one at sea in an incredibly unique and caring fashion. This is, of course, where The Angel’s Ashes really shines. I don’t believe there is a company out there that can match the sheer beauty of our ceremony. I also believe that all of our UNATTENDED SERVICES are unmatched for the reason that we do not treat it any differently or perform the ceremony any differently than when family members are on board. The same kind, loving, honorable respect for the deceased is always observed whether I am alone at sea or the family is present. I can’t stress that enough for I know of many companies that don’t give the care that we do.

There are three types of Unattended Burials at sea:

  1. View from shore

  2. Single scattering of ashes

  3.  Multiple scattering of ashes
